What stays local

Dish names, countries, ratings, notes, ingredients, recipe details, personal Ideas, and photographs are stored in your browser’s private IndexedDB archive. They are not uploaded for analytics.

Activity metadata the owner can see

The app records successful sign-ins and the timestamps and types of completed archive actions, such as creating, editing, or deleting a cook or Idea. The owner can see your invited email, invitation status, sign-in times, active days, and action counts.

Activity events never contain dish names, ratings, countries, recipes, notes, photographs, raw archive identifiers, or a copy of your archive.

Retention and control

Detailed activity events expire after 12 months. Lifetime counters remain until the owner erases all analytics. Erasing analytics does not delete invited accounts or local archives.

Tracking begins when owner analytics launches. Earlier activity is not reconstructed.

Network-assisted features

Voice transcription and recipe assistance use protected AWS services only when you request them. The app’s separate feature guidance explains what is sent for those actions.
